Buyer questions

Dried fruit wholesale — frequently asked.

What is the minimum order quantity for dried fruits?

For most products the practical minimum is one pallet (around 500–1,000 kg) per item, which can be combined with other Plusimpex products into a mixed container. Full container loads (FCL) receive the most competitive pricing.

Which origins do you source dried fruit from?

Apricots and figs mainly from Türkiye; dates from Iran, Tunisia and Saudi Arabia; raisins and sultanas from Türkiye, Iran and Uzbekistan; prunes from Chile, Argentina and France. Origin is always stated on the offer and the documents.

Can you supply organic or unsulphured dried fruit?

Yes. Organic (EU-certified) and natural / unsulphured grades are available for apricots, raisins, figs and dates. Lead times are slightly longer and MOQs may be higher, so let us know early in the enquiry.

How is dried fruit packed and how long does it keep?

Standard packing is 5–12.5 kg cartons with a food-grade PE liner, or 25 kg bags for raisins and prunes. Stored cool and dry (ideally 5–15 °C), most dried fruit keeps 12 months; dates and high-moisture figs are best held chilled. See our storage guides in the news section.

Do you deliver outside the Netherlands?

Yes — we ship throughout the EU, the UK, the Middle East and Central Asia. Quotes are given on your preferred Incoterm, and we can arrange transport to your warehouse under DAP or DDP.
