Wholesale traditional sweets · Netherlands
Plusimpex B.V. imports and distributes authentic traditional sweets from the Netherlands to ethnic grocers, supermarket world-food aisles, distributors, restaurants and caterers across Europe. Baklava and kadayif, tahini halva, Turkish delight (lokum), Persian sohan, gaz and pashmak, maamoul, noghl and Levantine pastries — sourced from established producers in Türkiye, Iran, Lebanon and Syria, EU-labelled, Halal certified and supplied from single pallets to seasonal container programmes for Ramadan, Eid and Nowruz.
Our traditional sweets range
Traditional sweets are bought by region and occasion: a Turkish grocer, a Persian supermarket and an Arabic pastry counter each want different products, and most of the year's volume moves around Ramadan, Eid, Nowruz and the winter holidays. The six families below cover the demand we see most — tell us the community you serve and we will build the assortment.

Authenticity & compliance
Traditional sweets sell on authenticity — the right producer, the right region, the right recipe — but they fail at the border or on the shelf for the same reasons any imported food does: labelling, additives and shelf life. We select producers for the first, and check every listing for the second, so what your customers recognise from home can go straight to the shelf.

Who we supply
A Turkish supermarket in Berlin, a Persian grocer in Amsterdam and a Lebanese restaurant in London order differently. These are the four channels we serve most.
Turkish, Persian, Arabic, Afghan and Balkan retail — full assortments by community, with reliable Ramadan, Eid and Nowruz supply and shelf-ready EU labels.
Curated baklava, halva and lokum listings and seasonal gift boxes for supermarket chains and discounters, with private-label options.
Mixed-pallet and full-container programmes for ethnic-food wholesalers, cash-and-carry and online retailers across the EU, the UK and Scandinavia.
Bulk baklava trays, frozen kadayif and künefe, halva blocks and lokum for Middle Eastern restaurants, pastry counters, hotels and event caterers.
Sourcing & logistics
We work directly with heritage producers in their home regions — baklava from Gaziantep, lokum from Afyon and Istanbul, sohan from Qom, gaz from Isfahan, maamoul from Beirut and Damascus — and consolidate through the Port of Rotterdam. One supplier, one invoice and one delivery, whether the order is a single brand or a mixed pallet from eight producers.

Buyer questions
Most products are available from one pallet, and several products from different producers can be combined into a mixed pallet or container. Branded retail lines may carry a minimum per SKU set by the producer; we confirm this on the offer.
Sohan from Qom, gaz from Isfahan (with pistachio or almond, in nougat bars or bite-size), pashmak, noghl, baslogh, Yazdi baklava and mixed Nowruz gift tins. Nowruz falls around 20 March, so orders should be placed by December to allow production and sea freight.
The large majority of the range is Halal certified, and we state certification per product. All products are supplied with EU-compliant ingredient and allergen labelling, either printed by the producer or over-labelled in the Netherlands before delivery.
For retail we supply long-life ambient baklava and kadayif in sealed trays (typically 6–9 months). For restaurants and pastry counters we supply frozen baked or unbaked trays, and frozen künefe, with a defined thaw-and-serve window. Fresh baklava is available for the Benelux on request.
Yes. Halva, lokum, dragées and stuffed dates can be produced under your brand with your artwork. Typical private-label minimums start at 1,000–3,000 units per SKU depending on the product and packaging.
Throughout the EU, the UK and Scandinavia — the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, France, Sweden and the UK have the largest Turkish, Persian and Arabic communities and are our main markets. Quotes are given on your preferred Incoterm, ambient or frozen, under DAP or DDP.
