Fresh fruit import & export · Rotterdam
Plusimpex B.V. imports and distributes fresh fruit through the Port of Rotterdam to wholesale markets, retail chains, ethnic grocers and re-export partners across Europe. Pomegranates, fresh figs, table grapes, citrus, stone fruit, melons, dates and seasonal specialties from Türkiye, Iran, Egypt, Morocco, Spain and the Southern Hemisphere — programme-planned by season, cold-chain controlled from harvest to delivery, GlobalG.A.P. certified and packed to EU marketing standards from single pallets to weekly reefer programmes.
Our fresh fruit range
Fresh fruit is bought by week, not by year: variety, calibre, Brix and arrival date decide the price. The six programmes below cover the demand we see most — tell us your channel and volume per week, and we will map origins and calendar to it.

Hicaz and Wonderful pomegranates from Türkiye, Iran, Egypt and Spain (Mollar de Elche), plus Peruvian counter-season. Calibres 6–14 in 4–5 kg cartons; also fresh pomegranate arils on request.

Bursa black (Bursa Siyahı) and green figs from Türkiye, plus Brazilian and Peruvian counter-season fruit. Single-layer 1 kg and 2 kg trays, air- or reefer-freighted for premium retail and food service.

Sultana, Crimson, Thompson, Red Globe and new seedless varieties from Türkiye, Egypt, Greece, Spain and the Southern Hemisphere. 4.5 kg and 8.2 kg boxes, punnets and bags for retail programmes.

Navel and Valencia oranges, Satsuma, Clementine and Nadorcott mandarins, lemons, limes and grapefruit from Türkiye, Egypt, Morocco, Spain and South Africa. 10–15 kg cartons, nets and retail packs.

Cherries, apricots, peaches, nectarines and plums from Türkiye, Spain and Greece; watermelon, Galia and Piel de Sapo melons from Egypt, Morocco and Spain. Bulk bins, cartons and pre-packed for summer retail programmes.

Fresh Barhi and Rutab dates, persimmon (kaki), quince, medlar, sour cherry, mulberry, fresh almonds and green plums (goje sabz) — the seasonal specialties ethnic retail and Middle Eastern food service ask for.
Quality & cold chain
With fresh produce the specification is only half the job — the other half is the temperature history between the packhouse and your dock. We buy to EU marketing standards, inspect at loading, and monitor every reefer and truck from origin to Rotterdam so that what was graded Class I at the packhouse is still Class I at your warehouse.

Who we supply
A wholesale market trader, a retail category buyer and a re-exporter to the Gulf need different calibres, packs and arrival days. These are the four channels we serve most.
Weekly reefer arrivals for traders at Rotterdam, Amsterdam, Rungis, Hamburg and other European wholesale markets — mixed loads and full containers.
Programme supply of pomegranates, figs, grapes and citrus in retail packs, plus the seasonal specialties Turkish, Persian and Arabic supermarkets depend on.
Consolidation in Rotterdam for onward reefer shipment to the UK, Scandinavia, the Gulf and West Africa — Europe-origin citrus, stone fruit and grapes outbound, Southern-Hemisphere fruit inbound.
Pomegranate arils, figs and citrus for caterers and juice bars; processing-grade fruit for juicing, freezing and drying partners.
Sourcing & logistics
We work with growers and exporters in Türkiye, Iran, Egypt, Morocco, Spain, Greece, South Africa, Peru and Chile, and route everything through the Port of Rotterdam — Europe's largest reefer hub, with cold stores, phytosanitary inspection and onward trucking to every EU market within 24–48 hours.
