Our nuts & kernels range
Nuts are traded by origin, variety, size and processing. The six lines below cover the bulk of European demand — tell us the application (snack, bakery, confectionery, nut butter or retail) and we will match origin, grade and format to it.

Quality & specification
With nuts, aflatoxin and rancidity decide whether a container clears the EU border and reaches the shelf in grade. Before a lot is confirmed we align origin, size, defect tolerance, moisture and packaging with your specification sheet — and document it on the certificate of analysis that travels with the goods.

Who we supply
A roaster, a chocolate maker and a supermarket buyer specify the same almond differently. These are the four channels we serve most.
Consumer packs of raw and roasted nuts, mixed-nut blends and in-shell pistachios for supermarkets, discounters and ethnic retail — labelled to your artwork.
Blanched almonds, sliced and diced hazelnuts, green pistachio kernels, walnut pieces and nut pastes sized for dough lines, enrobing and inclusions.
Raw kernels with consistent size and moisture for roasting, salting, coating and flavouring lines; fixed-recipe mixes for trail mix and cereal.
Almonds, cashews and hazelnuts for nut butters, plant-based milks and spreads — lower grades and pieces priced for processing, with full traceability.
Sourcing & logistics
We buy directly from hullers, shellers and processors in Iran, Türkiye, the USA, Chile, Vietnam, India and West Africa, and consolidate through the Port of Rotterdam — Europe's largest food-import gateway with dedicated nut inspection facilities. One supplier, one set of documents and one delivery, however many origins are in the container.

Buyer questions
For most products the practical minimum is one pallet (around 500–1,000 kg) per item, which can be combined with other Plusimpex products into a mixed container. Full container loads (FCL, roughly 16–20 t of kernels) receive the most competitive pricing.
Almonds from the USA, Spain and Iran; pistachios from Iran, the USA and Türkiye; walnuts from the USA, Chile, Ukraine and Iran; cashews from Vietnam, India and West Africa; hazelnuts from Türkiye, Italy and Azerbaijan. Origin and variety are always stated on the offer and on the documents.
Every lot is tested for aflatoxin at origin and, for high-risk origins, again on arrival by an accredited EU laboratory. We manage the pre-notification and border-control-post inspection in Rotterdam so the goods are released and delivered cleared.
Yes. Roasting, salting, blanching, slicing, dicing, slivering and milling are available for almonds, hazelnuts, cashews, pistachios and walnuts, either at origin or at partner processors in Europe. Tell us the size, roast level and packaging your line needs.
Kernels are best held cool (below 15 °C), dry and away from light, ideally vacuum or nitrogen-packed; under those conditions most keep 12 months. In-shell nuts and pistachios store longer. Walnuts and pine nuts are the most sensitive to rancidity and should be stocked to sell within 6–9 months. See our storage guides.
